Feeling lazy

Guys, I don't know what's going on in my mind and hand, but I have that mountain of ideas to draw and that unability to make anything that is good enough to me... I'm aiming to take part to nine or ten contests during the holidays and I already know everything I want to draw for them, but each time I'm in front of my piece of paper it's just impossible for me to put anything on it.

Maybe it's because I spent the last week staring at wonderful galleries thinking I would never achieve that level of perfection...

How fustrating.

Well, let's move to something else.

I'll sit my driving test tomorrow, I hope I'll get my licence! I'm tired of not being able to drive when there's no Mum or Dad beside me. XD I got new glasses too. I never wore the old ones because they were horrible, but the new ones are so stylish! Brown with a lovely silver garland of flowers on the sides. Wearing glasses is sexy.

I also got a job for two weeks in a kind of YMCA! I'm so happy! My very first job *_*

I love you all, even if I kinda feel that you're getting tired of seeing nothing really new in my gallery XD I promise to do better as soon as my hand wants to draw again.

After a few days of thinking and thinking about it again, I finally decided I'll open commissions on the 1st of July. You'll learn more about my prices and what I propose myself to do on that day! ^^

I first have to finish all the drawings I have to make for the winners of the contest :) Plus a prize for the second place at :iconthemermaidsclub: that I have to finish too. They're nearly done, guys, I'm just a bit lazy and like to finish everything in one time! But as I plan to open commissions on the 1st of July, be sure you'll get your drawings before that day :)

I'll also sell three sets of bookmarks : one about the Marauders, one about the Disney Fairies and one about the Four Elements. Just so you know :)

I've also found (nearly certain) a job for July... I'll do the washing-up all Summer in a little restaurant in Belgium! *_* I was nearly convinced I couldn't find nothing for July in June, but going to the Belgian border was a great idea and they take me in trial in two weeks :) Hope I'll get muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuney!

Talking about money, I went with my parents this morning to visit the little flat I'm going to live in starting September. I couldn't dream a better place! It's all new and shiny and there is a enormous window which gives a lot of light and there's a plug for me to have internet and TV and a brand new fridge and [...] they gave us a friendly price for it because they are friends of my parents XD I'm so lucky. It's five minutes by foot from the university, town center, cinema, station and shops. :heart:_:heart:

I add a little note for my boyfriend, because I don't know if I'll see him again until the end of August... Je t'aime, Ssiri! :blowkiss:

Commissions... or not commissions? [HELP]

I'm quite in need of cash those days. In fact, I'd really like to earn pocket money by myself, so that my parents won't always tell me that all the family's starving to death because of me... -_- So even if I'm currently trying all the ways to find a half-time job next year, I thought I could open commissions.

Thanks to ~snow-white-kt who gave me good advice on this matter and gave me the will to open commissions. Not now, though, 'cause I first have to finish all the prizes of the last contest!

I would have prices from 10€(a character and plain background) to 40€ (for reaaaaaaally complicated and hard pictures XD) plus a few pre-made four bookmarks set for 8€ each set. The price will also depends on how you want your pic to be made (tradi ou digi) and if you want me to ship you the original or a print. Do you think it's reasonable?

Also, does anyone know how it works to get checks from other countries than yours? I'm against a paypal account, in fact, because it's too complicated for me ^_^" Do you know if checks in euros from the E.U. are considered as the same as French checks? How does it works if you're American but you write a check in €? Or if you send me a check in $?... I'm a bit lost, I must say. I'll phone my bank tomorrow but if anyone knows, please tell me.

Hi folks!

Just a little update to let you know that I opened a brand new blog, much more "pro", in order to show my works to people that aren't interested in all the dumb things I can make in dA XD I mean, it's much more serious to have a kind of professional website.
